I was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, although my parents are originally from Calinog, Iloilo, in the Philippines. I graduated from Villa Maria High School in 1998, and went on to complete a D.E.C. at Marianopolis College in Health Sciences in 2000. In June of 2003 I graduated from McGill University with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
I am currently the research assistant for the lab of Dr. O'Driscoll. After my year-long work here is done, I plan to continue my studies and eventually complete a Ph.D. in either Experimental Psychology or Educational Psychology.
